Emory - 6 months

I had so much fun creating Emory's 6 month Life Art. The colours just worked so well and I love the flow with the words and the images. Enjoy!

I'll miss you Bug-a-boo

My dear cat Bug passed away last night at the age of 17. My amazing friends Lora and Cari adopted my cats 4 years ago but they have never been far from my heart. I know they grieve as deeply as I do. This piece captures the love I feel for him and more importantly, how I will always remember him. Peace be with you Buggy.

I Remember

A day late, but the spirit is important. I hope you all had a chance to remember the amazing people who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom. My paternal Grandfather died in WWII and it is only through his letters and pictures that my father and I know him at all. Never take this for granted and hold tight to the ones you love.

I created this piece a few years ago for my dad. It is a letter that his dad wrote him from overseas on his first Christmas along with a picture of each of them at that time.

Red Light Winter

Here is my latest image for Rogues Theatre. The new show, Red Light Winter opens October 29th and runs until November 8th, 2008.

Red Light Winter illuminates an ill-fated ménage à trios. College friends Davis and Matt spend a wild, unforgettable, winter evening in Amsterdam's red light district with a beautiful, young woman, Christina. They find their lives have changed forever when their bizarre, unrequited, love triangle plays out in unexpected ways a year later in New York's East Village. Stunning critics and audiences alike, Red Light Winter is a captivating love story, laced with incisive social commentary from Pulitzer Prize finalist and playwright, Adam Rapp.

Evan and Emma

A couple of months ago, I posted the originals from their session. I was so pleased with how this Life Art came out that I wanted to share these images as well. What an awesome way to remember who they are at this point in their lives.

I was so pleased to be asked to donate for the annual Images of Hope auction supporting IVF. Through this, I was able to meet this awesome family. Here are a few of my favourite images of the day. I'm looking forward to being an even bigger part of the event for 2009! To link to their web page, click on the title above.

My fabulous clients, Drs Wright and Leahey are just in the process of releasing the 5th edition of their book. Holy Crap!

It has been so insane the last couple of weeks as I have tried so hard to get everyone in on the gorgeous fall colours. So I apologize for no new posts, and no images with this post! They are coming and there is some cool stuff in there. Thanks for all your patience!

Erection Party

Not as dirty as it sounds and long overdue!

Everyone chipped in and built Carter her amazing playground at the start of June. Thought I'd post it here. The day was amazing - who would think that a bunch of engineers could work together? Thanks to everyone - you made one little girl (and her mama) very happy.

Finally!

I have never had to postpone a shoot this many times. Between weather and sickness this took MONTHS! But it was so worth waiting. The day was perfect and I had a blast (as usual) with Chris, Dave, Zoe and the puppies. Enjoy your sneak peek guys - can't wait to show you all of them!

Marc and Sophie

It was so awesome to meet Marc and to see Sophie again! She has grown so much since the last session! I had so much fun trying to corral them. Marc was all smiles (well, until the final hat) and was such a great baby to work with. Thanks for letting me be a part of this!

Kathy and Ian

Kathy and Ian celebrated 50 fabulous years of marriage this month. I was so pleased to be able to capture some family portraits for them at the Pinebrook Golf Course. We just caught the tailend of the good weather for the day, thankfully, as the view in to the valley was spectacular. Here are a couple views of their day!

Linh, Brent,Olie and Danny

Linh is a very talented friend that I went to photography school with. I was very flattered to be asked to do their wedding. I had so much fun with the e-Session with these guys. Mix in a toddler and a dog and it's always a recipe for chaotic fun.

Thanks for being patient and willing to play! I'm totally looking forward to your wedding.
